 I apologize for not consistently bloggin every monday—-anyway, here we go again.

 Question: What do we “treasure”?

 Our Families?—Our Jobs, Careers & Professions?—Our Finances?—Our Reputations?—Our status within society?—Our Influence?—Our Control over others?—Our skills in the bedroom?[Having to take medication can easily wipe those away, LOL!!!!]—Our cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, boats, planes, skateboards & other modes of transportation?—Our clothes?—Our Fashion statements?—Our houses of Worship?—Our Relationships with Celeberties & other Powerful and Influential People?—Our Spouse or Significant other?—Our children?—Our Passions?—Our Dreams?

If we were to be honest, not one single solitary thing named above, can be permanetely “OURS”

The only 2 things eternally “PERMANENT”……..is our immortal souls, and our[after-death] status with GOD. Everything else in this world is fickle @ best, and subject to change.

Any individual who “treasures” a world of temporary pleasure & fufillment, over the eternal pleasure & fulfillment of a permanent fellowship with their Maker, is a person who squandered their life, and made no investment in their future.

Change of plans Y’all!!!!

April ‘O9 I’m droppin a 5 song Ep Titled: “PUBLIC RELATIONS”. I was in the studio 2weeks ago with Precise & Cel-D doin some recording for the Project.

This summer I’m Droppin the full Album Titled: “DAMAGE CONTROL” with numerous guest apperances.

Also, sometime in between “PUBLIC RELATIONS” & “DAMAGE CONTROL”. I’m invading Cyberspace with my next mixtape series: “THE RIZE OF COREY RED” VOL. 1………..that’s what it iz Fam!!!! Y’all heard it live and direct from yours Truly……In 2009, it’s time…..to take what’s rightfully ours!!!!![Notice how after just bloggin about what's not "ours", here I am talkin about what's "ours", Lol!!!!] Wow!!!! The vainity of human beings, u gotta love it….Peace Y’all!!!!!!

My Super Bowl prediction: The Arizona Cardinals are going to “Shock The World” in about 2 weeks

You know, It’s funny….people always ask me about my political perspective. Lately I’ve been keepin my comments to myself (for now…Lol!!!).

And although I’m going to continue my present vow of silence, I will say this:

The earth-shaking, history-changing “ACCOMPLISHMENTS” OF Dr. King are so colossal, it’s an injustice for us to put someone in the same class as him without first witnessing them “DO” something.

We’re definately going to have change….nothing can stop that….the real issue is “WHAT KIND” of change???

Don’t worry….I won’t play the spoiler, I won’t ruin the moment, I won’t say anything negative, U don’t have to label me a “hater”…..go ahead and celebrate my fellow americans, have a good time, it’s ya time to shine people, the cup is half-full……I’ll just play the background and simply work on “CHANGING” myself (I’m a mess…LOL!!!)……so eat drink & be merry Baby!!!!
No more “Crashin Da Party”…….my friends….I will catch y’all @ the “AFTER” party…..One!!!!

Now that most of you have blown ya resolutions….I wanted to encourage you before you despair…Lol!!!

“4 Obstacles To Change”
1. “Thought Life”–Change your thinking, and in most cases you’ll change your circumstances. Your behavior & Decision-making is an outward manifestation of your inner thought-life.

2. “Courage”–Many times we fail to change because we’re “AFRAID”. Let me tell you a secret. Unlike your favorite Hollywood action-figure, in real-life, both the Hero & the Coward are afraid. The Hero conquers their fear, while the coward is overcome by what their afraid of….that’s the difference

3. “Peer-Pressure”–It’s amazing how many adults are hindered by what’s supposed to be a “young peoples issue”. Many don’t change because they need everyone to approve of their change. Don’t allow your souls beacon to shine less bright so others may feel comfortable in your presence. “Shine Baby Shine!!!”

4. “Innitiative”–Discontent has motivated individuals to change. Discontent has moved groups of people to change history. However, discontentment without “TAKING ACTION” changes nothing. Angry people who run their mouths and never do anything are those indivduals who merely exist as “CRITICS”. Most critics are forgotten when they die, and almost never leave a legacy.

P.S—Remember that after all is said and done, unless The Lord build a house, the laborers labor in vain. Many things like deaths, lost of employment, divorces and many other dissappointing things will happen in our lives this year. When they do, its not the end of the world, it’s just Life!!!

Yo Whatz Up Family???

Think about this…Think about all the people you have “beef” with,all the people your not speaking to,all the “heated” debates and philosophical arguments you’re presently having…even to the point of coming to blows with those who have the audacity to disagree with you.Think about all the family members you’ve vowed never to forgive.Think about how obsessed you’ve become with your dreams,goals,accomplishments and future ambitions while you simultaneously ignore your love-ones desperate need for affection.Think about how mechanically you wake up and worship your phone  before you even thank God for allowing you to experience another day.Think about the movies you enjoy,the music you listen to,and the television programs you watch religiously[even though your an atheist,LOL!!!]Think about the kinds of jokes you laugh @ and the gossip you follow.Think of how other people’s tragedy has become your source of entertainment.

Now go inside your mind and travel back to September 11th,2001….remember the horror you felt when you 1st saw the Towers crumble like a deck of cards…..Think about the days that followed…9/12, 9/13, 9/14, etc…Think about how meaningless and superficial you realized your life to be as of 9/10…..Now come back to “TODAY”…..And Think about how much you need to get your priorities in order….”Now I don’t know about you,but I’ll see Y’all later…I gotta go get my sugar,honey and iced-tea together!!!”…Peace!!!
